Step 1: Access the Installer

1. Log in to your NikolaHost control panel.
2. Go to Applications > One-Click Installs.

Step 2: Choose Your App

• WordPress: Ideal for blogs, business sites, and portfolios.

• Joomla/Drupal: Build complex, multilingual websites.
• Magento: Enterprise-level e-commerce.

Step 3: Configure Settings

1. Select Domain: Choose where to install (e.g., yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com/blog).
2. Database Setup:
   • Auto-create a database or use an existing one.
   • Save database credentials securely.
3. Admin Account:
   • Set a strong username (avoid “admin”).
   • Use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication.

Post-Installation Checklist

• Secure Your Site:
  1. Install a free SSL certificate under Security > SSL/TLS.
  2. Delete the default install.php file via File Manager.
• Optimize Performance:
  • Enable caching plugins (e.g., WP Rocket for WordPress).

Troubleshooting Installation Errors

• “Directory Already Exists”:
  • Delete conflicting folders via File Manager before reinstalling.
• Database Connection Issues:
  • Verify database credentials in wp-config.php (WordPress) or configuration.php (Joomla).
